Well, we've got Faurlin and M'Bia to play a DM role, as I think Sparky will take everyone by surprise and deploy M'Bia there against Chelsea. Lee Cattermole is good at what he does, I think people just surprised with the position you picked than anything else.

The idea of the thread was that if you could bring in just 1 player it would highlight an area that we fans consider a weakness (the ACTUAL player wasn't critical, just the position).....the answers seem to alternate between a CB and a striker.

IF Sparky does use M'bia as DM.........all well and good, but if he uses him exclusively in the back 4.....then I feel we will have a midfield that will be as soft as a rabbits belly......:=):

what about Faurlin, most clean tackles according to stats last season before his injury. Diakite when he gets match fit is also a good ball winner.
