Very impressed today well done team. My Breakdown.

Before any one negative posts actually read this.
Today we played extremely well after the first 20minutes we did look terrible then we started to settle.
Green: had a alright game he has improved since the last two matches he is actually commanding now.

Bosingwa: looked great passing was good same goes for his marking and tackles.also he may bomb forward but he is always sprinting back when needed.

Anton:played poor looked lost like he was in a dream world however he did make some vital tackles but he also made some vital mistakes.

Nelson: he is the way forward maybe old but a great reader of the game strong and for his size he can still make headers impressed by him today will be surprised if he is not a starter.him and mbia would work very well nelson and his experience mbia with his pace.

Fabio: still looked a little worrying defensively but he makes this up with his pace many time throughout the game he made brilliant tackles and interceptions due to him being able to get there before others.

Park: what a difference he is playing wide, great cover for fabio made some decent passes also read the game well. People say he has lost his legs? No chance he didn't stop running.

Granero: I am very very impressed by him he had a 87% pass rate which IMO is great when up against a team like city who was constantly closing us down. I believe we have found our set piece taker as well which is fantastic.

Faurlin: so glad he is back player well for a player who has just came back from injury. You can tell he is a little behind in terms of sharpness fitness ect but that will come with more game time.

Swp: changed man to be fair looks like the player we all wanted .HE is actually beating defenders now not just running into a brick wall. Surprised at how good he is when it comes to defending and chasing down balls that's what we need when playing away.

Johnson: this is a hard one did he play well or not in fairness it depends what his role was today. Was it to run around constantly up top closing down defenders? If so then he done that well I just can't help think he was meant to be creating more and scoring lol.

Zamora: tbh I am swinging into the direction that he should start every game at home or away.purely on the basis we need that one guy in the team who is a lump the player who you pass to up top and he just lays it off.

    Subs

Nedum:he is not a bad back up to have to cover one of defensive positIons of we need him.

Dyer: happy to see him back looked very composed with what he was doing.

Cisse: can't really say much as he player for like 10 mins would have liked to see him play more.

So overall I am happy and I believe the tactics was CORRECT we needed to play players who can attack but at the same point defend if needed. Cisse is not that player taraabt is not that player hoilett is not that player!!!! Hughes had to find a balance and IMO he found it.

THE REASON WHY WE LOST WAS NOT BECAUSE OF TACTICS BUT BECAUSE WE PLAYED A BETTER TEAM.

I'm really looking forward to our future once the team gels we will be a great force.you could see today at certain points if the team was gelled we would have created more chances.

Apologies for full stops ect I am on a iPhone and it lags constantly.

The futures bright the futures rangers!!!

Nice post better than the majority of negitive post from the never satisfied idiots who seem to think we have the right to win every match

Agreed seems like people expect to much from a team that has just started.

Agree with it all and i also believe we got the tactics right, but I dont think SWP had a good game.

He ran his socks off so cant fault him for effort and never could, but his control and passing was poor all game, even in the second half when the rest of the team stepped up.

Deserves a place on the bench for me, until he finds his mojo and shooting boots back.

thought it was a vast improvement on the previous games, was some good inter-changes between players and actually carried the ball with pace so imo a lot to be encouraged by.

I did'nt expect anything from this game but first 30 minutes it looked if it was going to be a cricket score, thought we played some nice football but that defence is simply not good enough, think that's a fair assessment, but if that makes me an idiot for expressing it then so be it:strive:
I must away now, I can no longer tarry
This morning's tempest I have to cross
I must be guided without a stumble
Into the arms I love the most

Agree with this completely, still not fully convinced by Fabio though

I'm In two minds about fabio as well however fabio does the stuff a normal player doesn't do. Example today running across the two CBS to defend that shot if he didn't do that they would have scored.

Yeah agree but he's definatly improving and a confident SWP will be a major asset , last year he was shot to bits but there are some encouraging signs
