    **** Tactics and Selection............

Why did Hughes not bring on Hoilett and Cisse when we were having all the possession, never in a million years did i think we would even get a point today but it was there for the taking and the manager blew it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

After every defeat you get a post like this.
    Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
    And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

I found it odd as well. Hoilett and Cisse don't start and only cisse comes on for 5 minutes?

Why dyer? SWP was wasteful the entire match. Zamora and Johnson don't offer the passing ability we need in attack.

If you don't like it don't read it mate, Man city were rocking and looked dead on their feet when it was 2-1 and all i'm saying is he could've been braver and gone for it with fresh legs.

Bet you were raving how good we were against the mighty Wallsall!!!

I thought zamora and johnson linked up quite well. Johnson started over Cisse as he offers alot more in a defensive sense. Same as park playing out wide over Hoillett. Granero and faurlin did well in the middle. Some may disagree but i actually thought dyer did ok, kept possession well and always looked for the ball. Park is definitely more suited out wide then in the middle. Just think if that chance that fell to nelsen, fell to anyone else, it could have been a different result.

Why Dyer? because Ale looked a bit tired to me, and maybe a bit cautious which is understandable

Granero is gonna be a quality player for us , maybe a bit too early to chuck Faurlin in although he played well enough.
Mbia will play centre half but who will partner him ???

Well we've got spurs chelsea everton & arsenal for 4 of those games out of the 6 so can't really judge our season on them

                          Agreed,Granero looks so good.

I was happy with Nelsen too, him and MBia could be the ticket

Why not we took points of all those teams last season with what many will consider to be a weaker squad - team ???

we'll always struggle with that defence, talk about giving the opposition space, thought city never needed to get out of 2nd gear, my big worry with sparky is I don't think he is adventurous enough. Would have brought on Hoilett at 2-1 and had a go at them
I must away now, I can no longer tarry
