I think that if Fred West or Peter Sutcliffe were turning out for us in the hoops then there would be some (like this Vblock chap) who would support them come what may.... Just because a player wears the hoops and is club Capt this (IMO) should not guarantee them fans' undying support... Let's be honest Joey Barton's tenure whilst at QPR has been a circus and not very successful to say the least... Support and or respect has to be earned... For me Joey Barton is vermin and always will be... It's inherent and very much part of his personality to be an attention seeker/controversial character and I can't see him doing much for a sustained period over in France... Who can forget his rather flattering remarks about Adel's 'genius' and giving Jamie Mackie the w@nker sign on the pitch... I bet Joey really galvanised the dressing room and was about as popular as a fart in a spacesuit... Some people on here seem to take any form of criticism directed at players as some sort of personal slight and are like dogs with a bone....

Let it go FFS the geezer is nowhere near good enough either on or off the pitch and is always on the verge of embarrassing himself and or the club... I dare say he'll have a book out within a year to 18months so all of his gang can go out and buy it for their Joey fix when he's not at Rangers anymore....
