Bothroyd on loan to Sheff Wed

“The likelihood is that Jay won’t make the 25,” Hughes told London24.com. “I explained it to him that it’s probably my intention to go with AJ, Bobby and Djib, with Junior Hoilett and the likes of Adel [Taarabt] and Jamie Mackie who can play up front as well. I’ve got plenty of options.

“I felt that it was right, if there were opportunities out there for him, to have loans or leave the club. We won’t stand in his way. There’s been nothing concrete in terms of the options that were presented to us.”

I agree with him 100%. It's great to have real football people in place now. Warnock could learn a lot
    Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
    And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

has talent but never ****ing shows it. loads of players over the years have that same promise. he's fast, decent feet, can nick the odd few knock-ons and on his day can find the net. just not good enough for the prem and will do a good job for a championship team/scot lge. if we are moving on then its time to say good bye. would rather mackie up front.

Shame for Jay, I think he's a good player. Just needs to work a LOT harder.

He just aint good or sharp enough for the PL. He slows the play so much, we could be on a counter attack and by the time he's got the ball under control, taken 2 touches, turned, looked up for a pass, the oppo has 4 more players back and the attacks dead.
Shame, as I had high hopes when we signed him, but back to the Championship I think's the best move for Jay... That or the glue factory :pleasantsuprise:
