It is very unusual as to how the board have approched this.... They could had got sven 1 year ago and given him 10m to go and win the league...

But they didn't... they are trying to achieve it in a different manner, I do not think it is a bad thing however, they are slowly building a good side and I think we are only 3 players away from a great side. If we go for it next season, and win the league in style, then I would be happy with that. :-)

Thanks W12 .... it took me long enough to write it, but i think it made some kind of impact! If nothing else I got a telling off from the wife as it delayed us from going out.

Interestingly I wrote "Players wise almost there.... 2 new strikers, left back, get Lopez in and tarbatt on loan for the season and I think we are a top 6 team. "

Now we know, we have tarrabaat, LB barrowdale looks solid, we got pelicori, didnt get Lopez but in Faurlin appears to be an even better purchase, so really only need a striker and backup cover from LB but we do have Connolly who can fill in.

All in all we are in good shape..... could have easily been 6 points, but I will wait until 10 matches into the season before I pass judgement on where we will finish.... I sound like Pete now LOL....

I think most of us are frustrated knowing we were good enough to win both games, but I dont think frustration should be taken out on the owners, as losing the owners would without doubt put us in a very scary position!!

Posters like Tim just regurgitate the same stuff all the time its very difficult to add anything what Scottyboy007 hasn't said already but ere goes...

IMO we are have very strong Championship squad and are possibly 2 good players short of challenging for automatic promotion (and yes one of those players is a striker). We have the strongest squad I have seen since 1997 and football has progress immensley in this country since those days. It is extremely difficult for clubs the size of QPR to compete at the highest level more so nowadays yet we are on the brink because of who owns the club.

Negative posters use he same old arguments for leveraged in debate about ST prices, Flavios CL quote, not buying a striker, board interference etc etc etc it gets ****ing boring.

IMO a section of our support has short memories they seem to forget we were on the brink of admistration virtually 2 years ago to the day. We are 2 games into the season, yet people are already writing our season because of an injury time equaliser on Saturday. We have a lot of fickle fans posting on here that is the bottom line who want their cake and eat it without attempting to understand the economics of the club.

The board have made mistakes some off which has royally ****ed me off but I tend to look at the bigger picture. We will be a PL team within a few seasons but when we do go up we would have laid some really solid foundations which we will build upon successfully.

I would sooner be a postive optimistic supporter who can't wait for every match to come by as opposed to being some miserable ####### who can't stop criticising the Board, The Team, The Facilities, Season Ticket Prices, Lack of Signings etc etc.

Tim,you will find many on this board only want to hear positive stuff,everything is wonderful,we dont need a striker,be patient,trust the board,get behind the team,its only 2 games,ect,ect,so im afraid if you expected to make friends with that post,you wont in fact you will end up as unpopular as me

Well, like I said, it is a 4yr plan, I do not think they are going for it this year, but next year will be our year...

I do not mind leaving it a year if we do win it next year.

I just come on here to get browny points and look at the whole picture, should have come in and said we jave saved the club and will build slowly ass we are not football people. Even notts county spending money
