one thing's for certain...no matter who we sign now, we definitely need some bus parking in the proximity of our defense and penalty box this saturday!

Don't like the idea of us just sitting back, soaking up pressure seeing as we can't defend!

We can defend though, look at the Man City game (not counting the last couple minutes) and we looked very dangerous on the break to boot. I thought we had some good defensive displays in the latter part of the season. Some shockers too mind, which is why we need to improve the quality of defender we have to have some more consistency.

it's almost a strange replay of the start of last season...we all thought we'd do ok, and got thumped by bolton on the first game of the season, who of course ended up getting relegated at our expense. cue the doom and gloom from everyone after the first game of this season.

i wonder if it then follows we'll have some surprising results (we were all chuffed with everton away last season for instance) and then swansea will get relegated come season end...
