    Squad of 25

If you belive what you read we are in the process of signing Dawson, Carvalho, M'bia & Artur Boruc. If my maths is correct we currently have 23 senior players with squad numbers and a further 3 young enough to be exempt from the 25 man squad. With this in mind, who are the unlucky players with squad numbers who won't make the cut?

    Robert Green
    Samba Diakité
    Armand Traoré
    Shaun Derry
    Anton Ferdinand
    Clint Hill
    Park Ji-Sung
    Andrew Johnson
    Djibril Cissé
    Adel Taarabt
    Shaun Wright-Phillips
    Jamie Mackie
    Nedum Onuoha
    Ryan Nelsen
    Kieron Dyer
    José Bosingwa
    Fábio
    Hogan Ephraim
    Junior Hoilett
    Radek Černý
    Bobby Zamora
    Brian Murphy
    Alejandro Faurlín

    Michael Harriman
    Max Ehmer
    Michael Doughty

Ephraim might be left out before Dyer. I think we'll probably sign a striker too as we've only got three in the squad currently, so they both might miss out. Of course it's also very possible we'll miss out on one of Mbia, Dawson and Carvalho.

I highly doubt we will get all 3 tbh. Would be amazed if we did.

You're probably right, but maybe Ephraim to miss out rather than Dyer.

I honestly think Ephraim has more to offer the squad than dyer.

                  It's confusing Del:-

In addition to the 25-man named squad, clubs can use an unlimited number of players aged 21 or under. According to the Premier League: "An Under 21 player is defined as one who is under the age of 21 on 1st January in the year in which the season commences. Which is it? 21 and under or under 21? The definition for age is "as at 1st January in the year which the season commences", at which time JH was 21.
So on the basis of players aged 21 or under, he qualifies as under age - but then the PL rule addresses an "Under 21 player". Confused? I know I am!

Yep. He loves the club and works his #### off every year to get into the squad. Dyer is here because Warnock had no money and needed someone - anyone - to put in a QPR shirt and show off to fans.

Dyer has still showed his potential in the preseason matches.

No Hoilett does not qualify because you have to be 20 or under on Jan 1st.

a player who is 22 can play in u21s for a national side i think given hes 21 at the start of the season but i think its is 21 and under as macheda was 21 and didnt count towards the 25
i supported qpr in the glory days when chris kiwomya and michael ngonge played up front
