Not too shabby IMHO. Hoping this Dawson deal comes off - such a good defender. Hopefully his injury is 100% cleared up now though eh.

Still think Hughes is after 2 defenders though: either Zouma or that Mbia chap on top of Dawson is my guess.

I think with the big boys sniffing Zouma the price will hike and we'll pull out, or simply lose out. I actually like the sound of Mbia more as he can do either CM or CB role. The more flexibility in the squad the better....

Has MH not formally announced PArk as captain now then..? If so he isn't gpoing to take the armband off him a week later.

I don't know if he has, or is still to annoiunce long term... i just assumed that was what he did.

Personally, as mentione before the weekend, i don't think Park is right at all as the communication is clearly an issue and he will not be able to do what is needed with player interaction. I thought Nelsen should start and be captain. I know if he had at least played we wouldn't have shipped 5!

Dawson is class.

You wont find a quality CB on the cheap.

I think it's different for a CB. That is the the one position in recent history where England have been pretty strong, so for this lad to be capped with all the competition, shows his quality!! Unlike others e.g Green

Dawson is a great player, but if we've paid £10m for him, then you have to take your hat off to Levy for his negotiation skills. For a player tha is likely to have a much reduced potential sell on

I agree, but then I also honestly think Green is a very good goalkeeper too. But hey, what do I know.
