I'm confident Diakite will be making those kinds of runs for us once we get a competent DM in.

No Stephen Ireland would be a nice signing, but it's not a priority for an AM. We've been linked with some rather nice holding players. De Jong, Mbia although they seem like fantasy right now. Derry can do the job for us in the short term.

Javi Fuego, Radja Nainggolan and Etienne Capoue all look like they could be fit the bill. Or they did last time I had a look at good DMs from the continent hehe.

Our problem was just being overzealous with too many bodies attacking, and it left our defence exposed. It looks a lot worse than it really is.

But agree we need an english speaking centre half. But I think Derry will plug the gap in the centre of the park long enough that we will get someone in to play holding midfield. Of course Faurlin is another option when he's fit.
