I think most people would like him here, but he doesn't want to go anywhere, he wants to stay at Spurs. He's said that.

Just seen the highlights briefly... For me it summed up Defoe good and bad... the good, can hit the target, the bad, he's very greedy and plays for himself more often than not. After his goal there was a break from Bertrand who went for a 1-2 with Defoe who had a shot instead of passing to Bertrand or i think Milner who was best placed of the lot.

Yes he'll get goals, but i personally don't think we need him with the set up i reckon we'll play, ie 4231, as Cisse must be the one up top with probably Hoilett, Taarabt and SWP supporting.

We honestly do not need him, I think Cisse is better and Defoe in no way complements him.

Agree with the Cisse comments has been great for us, but if he gets injured?? BZ different player, AJ don't trust him to get goals, play Mackie in there I suppose.

I understand he's had talks and been to training ground but is asking for too much money wants �80-�90k a week which we are not prepared to pay as he's only on �60k a week at spurs
but we probably have enough strikers unless we clear out a few

I think whats more important .
