There's always got be someone at the club that some folks feel the need to dig out - Flav and Bern out so no go there anymore, TF doing a great job, Mark H a good manager, club on the up, top top signings being made...........lets have a dig now at poor old Ian Taylor, who from what I can see is just doing his job, and presumably his job might be to big things up a tad....so what!

speaking of training kit sponsors, i remember in the old programmes when you could sponsor a player's kit and there were always blanks against the goalkeepers' shorts for some reason...

Bit confused by the training kit announcement. According to the club site, TF says its the second deal for kit in the league and says Man U was first, but I believe Man C have a training kit deal too.

From what we know, it's new commercial linkup (story on offish about Kashbet? Surely more than that?), and the squad numbers are due (which may give us an idea about potential signings).

There was talk about a potential fly-by with the plane on the opening day, that would be cool. Potentially that.

I agree with NW9 that we'd know about a new signing already. We haven't had a non-deadline-day surprise signing for a while, have we?

Since the new ambitious ownership era is it seems everytime theres an announcement to be made some fans get abit OTT and expect it to be a signing. Not always gunna be, sponsorship deals etc are still important to our club and need announcing.

Yep. Think thats currently whats stopping us being a 13th / 14th place finish to being in a position to compete for a top half finish.
