Do we still need a CB?

Does anyone else feel that we still need a central defender? This in my opinion is the only place on the field we are lacking in real strength and depth.

Yes, we really do. I think it will be sorted on the deadline day. But, If Hill and Ferdinand are in the team on saturday, I wouldn´t personally be too worried short term.

I'd like a CB and cover at LB for Traore. Defence will be rock solid after that.

Yes lack pace centrally at the back,like Hill and Ferdinand but both are not the quickest.

It is possible Fabio and Traore could cover but in a straight race neither of the above are quick enough.

If this issue were resolved i feel we could look forward to a good season.

I think we need a commanding centre back with pace, although very hard to find.

Although I do think Nelson we will a useful addition if we can get a run of games out of him without injury.

I dont feel confident with two from Ferdinand Nelsen Hill or Onouha

i think we're actually alright in defence seen as though weve got 2 players per position as CB and RB and people who can cover LB. when the hill ferdinand partnership was thrown together they stopped players like defoe, rvp and aguero (all but 1 min in the entire game). So now theve had a full preseason to strenghthen and onouha and nelsen to cover if needed. no need to worry

I think it is a case of how our current defence will perform at the begining if th season. If we leak goals, then perhaps yes.

In the long term yes cause Hill and Nelsen are old. In the short term I don't think so. Can wait till next summer

The last game against Citeh our defence were amazing. If we were to carry on where we left off..we should not be worrying.
But to be on the safe side yes get one in .
