You must lead quite an unfulfilling life to post such comments on a football forum?Originally posted by acricketer View PostDo you guys know that a sentence starts with a capital letter? I'm guessing you are all in kindergarten (children's garden in German) or less gifted. Connell10 passes the inspection.

acricketer is quite right though. Some of the standards of grammar on here are shocking. Typos are one thing, but basic lack of grammar is another. My personal pet hate is when people write 'would of' instead of 'would have'.Originally posted by MattyRangers View PostYou must lead quite an unfulfilling life to post such comments on a football forum?
But each to their own. If people are happy to display their lack of English comprehension on a public forum, that's up to them.Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

Thats fair enough, we all have our own "pet hates", but not everybody has the same standard literacy skills as others. For example, massive stereotype/generalisation here and I apologise for any offence caused, but a bricklayer isnt going to worry as much about ensuring capital letters are used in correct places whilst typing on an internet forum as, say, an English teacher might be.Originally posted by QPR Richard View Postacricketer is quite right though. Having it bother you is fine (in all honesty when I read certain posts I notice the incorrect words also - I am a nerd like that), but IMHO, going out of the way to make a snidey comment flagging it up, really is about as petulant as it gets and gives the impression, to me anyway, the poster is trying to belittle the person who may have used the incorrect grammar. You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.
