      Loving the optimism here, but I can almost assure you all we will not be getting anymore than 60 pts!!. Let alone finishing 5 or 6th or wherever some of us are predicting to finish. 50-55 at the most I'd say and a comfortable 10-13th place finish.

              If we can win 10 of our home games,there's 30 points already.So,we're looking for another 10-12 for safety out of the remaining 28 games,I don't think 50 points is out of the question at least!
              I came here to chew gum and kick ass,and I'm all outta gum!

                Going to play a big part in the season given there are five of them. With 30 points up for grabs how we perform here alone will have a major bearing on if were mid table or battling relegation again

                (Points over two games Home & Away)

                Arsenal – 1
                Chelsea – 3
                Fulham – 4
                Spurs – 3
                West Ham – 4

                Total = 15 points from 30

                Big Boys
                Man City – 0
                Man Utd – 1
                Liverpool – 3

                Total = 4 points from 18

                Mid Table Sides
                Everton – 2
                Newcastle – 3
                Stoke – 3
                Villa – 4
                Wigan – 4

                Total = 16 points from 30

                Strugglers

                Norwich – 6 (I have a feeling this will be our season over them)
                Reading – 4
                Southampton – 6
                Sunderland – 3
                Swansea – 4
                West Brom 3

                Total = 26 points from 36

                Total points for the season is 61 purely based on hunches and gut feelings looking at the teams. Having put that down on paper its probably 6 points more then I would have expected as I initially anticipated approx 55.

                What are others views on how we will fare
                "Hunches and gut feelings"!? Thank God for that coz I thought for a moment you might be the second coming.

                  With doing a big ol' breakdown: Im going to hazard a guess at a points total of 46 for us this year, finishing 13th.

                    seriously doubt that only one or two teams will do the double over us next season but i reckon we'll get 46-48 points - and i'll be very happy with that after all the stress at the end of last season.

                        A lot of our fans are getting carried away. 6th place finish? No chance. Remember that the team will take time to gel and that we are still a little weak defensively (unless Hughes signs a couple of defenders before the end of the transfer window). I think we'll achieve a 13th-15th finish, avoiding relegation comfortably.

                          This. I only hope the fans that are predicting the 50+ points are necessarilu expecting that amount, because otherwise I got a feeling they may be slightly underwhelmed. We will improve on last year, IMO, and have ourselves safe with a few games to go and probably end up just udner the halfway mark - but were not gunna become world beaters overnight.

                            One bookie had us finishing 13th. I'm happy with that.
                            Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

                              In your opinion............ no need for all these let's not get getting carried away posts it's a laugh!! I don't know you don't know......... we could just as easily get relegated as finish 13th/ 14th.As I say no one knows I predicted we'd beat Chelsea last season and we did and then there were posters calling others deluded................ no one knows.

                                47 points. Remember, the other clubs have also spent money on new players. Or at least they will in the January window.
