If we get Ki and a CB i'm very optimistic we can get a top 10 finish. This is not me getting carried away but i'm going on the strengths and weaknesses of teams that we will be competing with. I was going to say and would also be very happy with 14th but i really think we will do better than that. Newcastle did very well last season and i honestly don't think their team from last season is much better than our team this season. We played em off the park at our gaff last season with the team we had then. If Faurlin gets fit and and comes back the way he was then with the new players around him i really don't see why we can't break into the top 10 injuries permitting. I think with Diakite and Faurlin in the middle we potentially have one of the best centre mid-fields in the league now. I seriously believe we can match anyone on our day now other than the top 5 or 6 teams. I think our weakness lies at fullback both sides. Not convinced by Ned yet and Traore is better as a wide midfielder. Would ideally like Fabio at RB and a new more defensive LB but i think weve been spoilt enough already so if we get anyone else in it will be the cherry on the cake. Are Everton, Villa, Foolham, Stoke, Sunderland, Wet Spam, Naarwich, Swansea, West Brom, Saints, Wigan and The Fake hoops any better than us now? I think not!!!! U R'sssssssssssss

Point taken Will but last season was last season. We have a new team now so theres no reason we cant be optimistic and pick up a lot more points on the road.

We can be optimistic, but we can't afford to get complacent that we're going to walk over teams. It's going to be a very tough season. Once we get an away win I'll be happy, but our away form is a bit of a monkey on our back we need to get rid of sharpish.
