I must away now, I can no longer tarry
This morning's tempest I have to cross
I must be guided without a stumble
Into the arms I love the most

the story at the time was the Fulham bench said to do Busby, also Jago had to be pulled away from Alec Sock by the police

Seen a fella's shinbone come through his leg on a sunday lge game at wimbledons training ground(near new maldon??).could hear the crack of his leg from the pitch next to it. Big bloke screaming. All games called off and helicopter had to land on our pitch. Mad. Nearly lost his life due to clots/complications. All for a knockabout.

True story dave-our trainer and his were pals so we got the rundown after. Never played again and was out of work for 18months. We raised a cple of grand from our club when the season finished at a benifit do. Other player went over the top and took a few digs in the carpark after. Terrible.

Bloody hell, not so bad if it's a pure accident, still not good i know, but as you say spose to be for enjoyment and kickabout,.... you can see why unless you have top personal insurance it isn't worth the risk

Don't forget Antti Heinola. Was it Gerry Francis that said something along the lines of "I don't want to go into too much detail, but he had blood gushinh out of his penis" :x_x:
