I loved him. I play as a wing back & he summed up my sort of player. The attitude of 'come at me, you won't get past me' is very rare nowadays. Think he's a gem.

But oh well, why spend £3m when you can get someone on loan for much cheaper? Saves money enabling more important transfers

Wonder what it was about Taiwo why MH didn't pursue his permanent signing? Seemed a decent LB to me.

I really can't work out why we're in for him. Wasn't the fee we had agreed with him like £3million? Thats a bargain for one of Europes top left backs!

My guess would be that we dont want to sign another african LB and risk losing both traore and taiwo to the ACON
