Don't know much about him, is he a goal scorer or assist player?
(He played right wing for Watford i think i heard so wiki stats aren't much to go by)
          Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
          And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

Agree, I think he is young and has great potential and at the moment would be reasonably priced.

Yea he also plays upfront or just behind the foward, and is very prolific imo

                would be a good signing

Jackson is a good prospect and posted something last season suggesting him but at the moment what we need is a proven out and out striker who can, if necessary, hold the line up front with Buzz or Tarabt playing deeper - can we really let our season hang on the shoulders of a young lad who had done very well (though not sensationally well) in League One? Beckford's scoring record is phenomenal, but this guy, though clearly v gd, still has something to prove. If we had got a really established striker wd have been v happy with him instead of the Percolator or if we had somehow managed to off-load Pat.

Problem with Beckford is the money that Leeds want for what is still a potentilal risk, whereas Jackson would be a lot cheaper with a similar risk. I actually think Jackson will prove to be the better player, but only time will prove that point.

Agree he would be a gamble, as would Beckford. Who's to say he wouldn't make the step up? As for a proven goal scorer, we had one and let him go. Time is running out and there aren't many proven goal scorers at this level available. Young players like Jackson and Beckford have to start somewhere. Jackson is getting lots of attention from clubs so there must be something in him and if we were to get him, I'm sure he would be a great asset for the club

                        beckford is off to leicester.
We won't pay 3 million for 1 player.
Mittal is an indian and they are way to shrewd with there money to spend any of it.
Oh that message took me 10 sec's to type.
He would of earn't 3 million in interest over that period. Oh well
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!
