Ryan Nelsen on Hughes, Barton and his move to QPR

Ryan Nelsen on talksport 10:25pm says he wouldn't be surprised to see more signings coming in to QPR. Nothing much we don't know, club/chairman ambitious he has only spent one day at the club, and says it is a bit weird not to be with his new teammates. Micky Gray on the show reckons if the Rs get off to a good start we can finish in the top 10.

I think he will prove to be a very shrewd acquisition for us and play a lot more games than people think.... Just think less than a yr ago Hill was loaned out to lge 1, he came back and had a great season. Nelsen has been a top pro for years, captaining a prem side (when they were a comfortable prem side, and his country.... he could be immense. By all accounts he impressed a lot of people when briefly at Spurs a few months back.

Agreed. I think this signing has fallen off the radar for a lot of QPR fans but I can see him playing a big part in that Defence next season. imo the best CB we have at the club.

If nobody else comes in i think he's a very likely choice for Captain also.

Off topic but I can see big shirt sales in New Zealand. When I was there earlier this year, all the shirts in the shops would be Chelsea, United, Arsenal then Blackburn (with Nelsen on the back).

I lived over there for a year a doubt the population would fill Loftus Road unless you bring sheep which ain't a good idea for the Swansea game unless you want the RSPCA docking us points

You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

My dads a QPR fan from New Zealand so he was over the moon when we signed Nelsen!
We're Queens Park Rangers and we always do things the hard way!
