I would argue Park's ideal position is as the central attacking midfielder/trequartista because of his great awareness, movement, and teamwork. His finishing wasn't fantastic at United because he was played as a defensive winger and never got the opportunity to get in form in that position but he's more than capable of scoring goals when given the chance. To be fair to Sir Alex though, he had much bigger names he had to play--like Rooney and Berbatov. Park has not lost his legs but I think it would be wasteful to have him on the wing rather than a natural winger like Hoilett or even Taarabt who likes to cut inside.
