He's been with Blackburn since the age of 14 - progressed through their Academy, hence he is a "home grown" product. Nationality is irrelevant.

Exactly thats my understanding too.

This was the case when Spurs signed John Bostock from Palace. They could anot agree a fee so Spurs announced him as theirs and the tribunal agreed the fee at a later date

Steve Kean is asking for £6mill imo just to get that figure out there, and if it goes to tribunal then that will be Blackburn's starting pos. I expect QPR to offer anywhere around £1 mill to £1.5mill, and the tribunal will meet somewhere in the middle, that's how these things seem to work in the past

Lol - I cdnt exactly do a jeremy paxman on the poor bloke as he was on an evening out . The only other player related issue I raised was need for a centre half - he agreed but unless he is a v gd actor I don't think we have anyone lined up. Might be wrong but that was my strong impression. Still, its a great time 2b an r and if they don't buy one we will just have 2 make the best of what we have. Even without a single further addition we go in2 the new season massively ahead of where we went in2 the last...
