I'm glad you're not negotiating our deals! We'd never have signed Taarabt, Diakite or Onouha. Hughes wouldn't be our manager, and H&F Council would have told us to 'do one' long ago over the new stadium.

How long does he want? He wants as long as it takes. Can you blame him for trying to squeeze more money out of us? Or for seeing if an English CL club might come in for him? You'd likely do the same in his position. Footballers rarely get the chance to negotiate as a free agent - he's the one holding all the cards here.

How many players do you think have some kind of emotional link to QPR before they join? It's purely business before that point.

Many players develop an affection for the club and fans, but I'd guess for the majority it's just a job, and they want to be paid as much as possible for it.

Just because we'd sell our mothers to have a sniff of playing for QPR doesn't mean we should expect the same fervour from our players, especially if they haven't signed for us yet....
