dont think Defoe would be a 90 min player anyhow. Snap him up.

In a fair few games i think we'll play 4-2-3-1 and either Cisse or Defoe would be benched. Can't see either of them putting up with that.

Personally I'd put Mackie in a strikers group of four and stop mucking about over Hoilett and get him signed up, bearing in mind he can play up front too. With Ki looking likely to sign, the focus should then switch firmly to the defence.

I don't know how anybody can say they would prefer Cisse over Defoe his goal scoring record is very good!! always scores a fair amount every season!!!!
last season he scored 17 from under 40 appearances with half of them coming from the bench!
you start him every game easy 20-25 goals his finishing is quality!!
players need to learn how to adapt why couldn't Cisse and Defoe adapt to play with each other or just play Cisse on the wing!!

Also, no denying he's a good goalscorer, but he won't play with Cisse, and of the two i'd rather Cisse any day, so why pay £8m for a player unless he'd play every week...?
Apologies Del I wasn't aware you picked the team.

            Sorry again

We have to avoid Reading getting hold of him, hence we have to buy him. He Will be great in a 4-4-2 formation IMO.

I SUPPOSE IVE GOT TO SAY AT 8 MILLION BITE THERE HANDS OFF

                GOALS GOALS AND MORE GOALS

I think that we need to create a three year plynth to give us time to bring in some young guns at bargan basement prices

at 29 years of age defoe has got another 100 goals in him,we must buy him if we get a chance but i think chelsea or liverpool will snap him up

Not sure if he'll go to a club where he can't be the main man, and that's not certain at ours what with Cisse around.

I dont think cisse plays well on the game i know this is a poor example we played cisse in a 4-3-3 on the wing when we was playing chelsea and he just looked so out of place and uncomfortable, maybe he had an off game i dont know i would just like to see a formation with 2 strikers, i think BIG Z (zamora) will come out better for us next season!
