    This JT AF trial

What a waste of ####ing tax payers money for what 2/3000 ground fine if guilty and nout if not.The FA should be made to pay the costs of this as it was their lack of balls to take action either way that has brought this pantomime about.Could of been dealt with by the proper authorities like the Suarez was.

Criminal offence so therefore takes precedence over any FA inquiry. On the upside, Terry stands to lose a hell of a lot more than two grand: the england captaincy, all his endorsements, probably be banned for three months and what little remains of his tarnished reputation. Money well spent imho....

Be interesting if he is found not guilty.....Think we need to get this sorted once and for all is calling some one a black **** racist? It can't be stereotyping can it. It's stating a fact with a swearword, i know i've been told it's to do with the past that white was considered superior, but then it's these people who need to let the past go.

EXCLUSIVE: "Look at my iPod playlist, i've got some 50 cent on there...that prove's I'm not racist!" John Terry is alleged to have said in his trial today.

this has got nothing at all to do with the FA. A member of the public made a complaint to the police. Do you think the FA run the country and enforce the law?

But the FA stood back whilst the OB had to deal with it,rumour had it,it was a member of the FA who made the complaint so they didnt have to deal with it.

No - once the case was a criminal one - the FA could not do anything, because should he get banned from his place of work and then found not guilty in court - he could sue the FA for serious amounts of money. We have all been around this 100 times.

Rumourt also has it that it was a QPR fan that reported him to the police.

I saw yesterday that it was an off-duty policeman who reported it. Not sure if he was QPR or not. It's possible

I think JT has put his foot right in it. He said today that he didn't snap when AF was taunting him, so that could mean he knew exactly what he was saying when he used the racist remark. I do hope so.

The fact is no one wins in this kind of scenario. I'd be concerned about the effect of all this on Anton if JT walks. I really hope the QC has a few heavyweight black witnesses to testify as to the damage this kind of abuse causes because CFC witnesses are going to big up JT as a home boy. That the words were said is not in dispute, so all that remains is to emphasise the seriousness of them, no matter what the circs actually were.

Purely on an evidential note, did Anton admit to taunting JT? I ask because the media seem to have been reporting this as fact.

Yes... But there is a huge difference between goading a person who cheats on his wife and shits on his team mates and racially abusing someone ........

Part of Terry's defence - me, lamps, ashley cole and daniel sturridge get changed together. we do it until we lose then we swap around. True story, a bbc journo tweeted it.

Even if Anton said stuff about Bridge's missus it's NO excuse, its a proven fact that terry did it and no way in hell should that mean someone can be racist or use that language back. Imagine if JT gets off this and that is part of the reason why - every case of racism in court will be "well he said something about my wife or my past so I called him a (insert racist language here)"
