    3 or 4 more signings..

@SimonPeach: .@TonyFernandes says he is happy with #QPR's transfer business this summer but that "there may be three or four more" signings.

    Who do you reckon?

i dont think we want too many changes.. although if we get them in early then great.

we do need a squad but we also need a nucleus of players who know eachothers game.

i'd be happy if we just signed a commanding centreback to replace ferdinand.

    Lovejoy: "No?!"

Top man. Provided these are, obviously, half decent signings (which, with Sparkie and co, I have no douts they will be) I think we will be in a very very good position for the start of the season.

Cant wait for it to kick off.

I think there'll be an expensive player coming in. Remember, MH has got at least £12m burning a hole in his pocket, based on the fact he went to speak to Oliver Giroud.
Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

I'm happy with Ferdinand and think bar a couple of incidents has been excellent for us.

Yep. I agree with GaxZE though that we need a commanding CB, but for me its to partner Anton, not replace.

Nelsen is still a top Centre half which I think we seem to be forgetting.

                        Good point
                        Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
                        And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

                            So?

Someone like Nelsen playing along Anton will improve Anton's game massively. Centre half is a position where you can play at the top into your late 30's, it's all about reading the game.

if nelson was 38/39 then yeah id agree.. he's never been fast he's been a leader at the back, spurs fans i speak to talk highly of him in his short spell.

Nelson will be our main CB next year.. and unless we sign somebody else id want hill next to him.

I just dont rate ferdinand at this level. too many mistakes / needs somebody commanding next to him to perform.

Remember him and onouha at cb? it was a disaster - only when hill came in did ferdinand look assured.
