Have heard that he is training with us and if all goes well he could be offered a pay as you play contract? Not a very good tip but could be true anyone heard anything?

What do you think about him? i personally think that if and is a BIG IF he can get fit would be a very decent player but just cant see him staying fit!

I had read that he retired after being released by City! I hope these rumours aren't true as I am no fan of him at all, he is known as "the #####" in Canada after he strung our nation along playing for youth teams then joined England! As pointed out he has had nothing but injury woes for years, couldn't happen to a nicer guy! Please Mark Hughes, stay away from him!

Englands best player at the 2006 world cup by a mile.... Brilliant for Bayern when they won the Euro cup when about 20. He was a very good player and wouldve been even better for England had Sven actually played him in his position.
