I changed my mind and say "No".

We don't need to rush things, we have a full 2 months to make the right moves.

Dyslexic so please don't feel the need to correct my spelling mistakes as I really don't give a **** and before you say use spell checker if it is spelt right / wright but not in context spell check is useless

I'm going to go for Fabio tomorrow
        Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
        And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

Fabio is a good player. You don't play for Brazil and Manchester United over a sustained period, even in small doses, if you're a bad player.

Everyone who's slating hm just because he can't break into the Utd team, bear in mind Evra has been one of the best LB's around for years, and RB they had Neville and recently his brother (who is the recognised RB out of the 2), plus the emergence of smalling / Jones. NOne of those players getting in ahead of him means he's a bad player.

Traore was slated before he came for being an Arsenal reserve.... was he rubbish?!

Wrong. When Fabio joined Man Utd he was considered the better twin, however due to the fact that Evra has been ahead of him (and he's captain) means that it's been near enough impossible to break into the side. Rafael was able to due to a lack of competition at right back. Fabio is aggressive, he's not lightweight. He's more composed than Taiwo and is probably technically better. Being a full back is not all about physicality.

How many players do you think we need? OK we do need to improve in certain areas. However at the end of the season we won all our home games (against reasonable opposition) and we really only need to improve our away form. I am concerned that if we make too many changes it will take them until the middle of the season to gell.

Traore is probably among a maximum 5% of former Arsenal reserves that haven't sunk without trace.

COmpletely irrelevant as i was talking about Traore and the comments about him, none of the others.

AS you mention it though, Morrow was hardly young when he came, Rose did really well for us for a number of years, and COnnolly was part of the best defence in the Championship when we won the league, and then went to Reading who also won the title, although i think his appearences have been limited... hardly sinking without trace though is it.

At what point in that post did he say he'd prefer Fabio to Taiwo?

I mentioned on a previous post that prehaps the reason we are dropping our interest in Taiwo is the African Cup of Nations. Can't have your 2 first choice Left Backs (him and Traore) disappearing for 6 weeks at the same time!
