yes he can be a handful in the air/back to goal but has the touch of a sunday lge player. one of the reasons england are a quarter final team at best. if the game is to progress in any way then that type of player needs to be over looked.

He wasn't match-fit...Should've brought him in at around 60 mins.

Yes mate you are a man of great taste, they were wonderful players, I also added Moore and the kaiser when I amended my post as I had a "moment" when England was truly great. Heard some stories of when Moore played for the Hammers and he was truly legendary such as a training exercise when it stopped and players had to say where all the players were around them, he never got it wrong. Both him and the kaiser were great players. Those positions often don't get the appreciation as say forwards or midfield players.

Rooney hasn't been the same player since he put that "road kill" on his head.

The weaknesses in the team I think is we don't play with two pacey wingers, and we should be playing with a big 'un and a little 'un up front. I think if Gareth Barry had been fit we'd have played 4-2-3-1.
Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

Yes can't think of centre backs over the last 20 years that have been dominant, I suppose that's why Terry and Carragher have made such a lavish living :pleasantsuprise:

He is World class. As I said before he was lacking game time because of that 3 match ban...you could clearly see that today. Defoe should have started with Rooney coming on later as an impact sub.
