I don't know any proper Rangers who give a stuff about Fulham our rivals will always be Chelsea and Luton IMO but if you want to try and create a new rivalry crack on fella but hating Fulham is the equivalent of hating Bambi !

not criticising you personally but i find rangers fans banging on about chelsea embarrassing. we might both be in the premier league but in a deeper sense we are no longer in the same league. they are champions of europe, who are we? fulham, by contrast, is a team of similar stature to us (yes we were a lot stronger, but in the last 15 years they have been massively more successful than us). in the next couple of years it cd become even stevens and we are catching them fast. all the makings of a cracking local rivalry. banging on about chelsea is equivalent to brentford fans bitching about us - just looks a bit muggy and deluded.

There are some ****ing idiots on this thread the actual question was about football matters but the usual suspects turn it into a discussion about football violence...there is a rivalry with fulham and its on the pitch if you don't care about that fair enough but to judge a football rivalry based on rucking is pointless and idiotic.

It all depends on your reason for hating Chelsea my reasons are the fact they used to be all over Loftus Road like a rash and generally acting like utter scum the fact they now seem to think they are a massive club in recent years just adds to the general hatred

I remember it well but there was a point in the mid-nineties when they overtook us and then just blew us and most of the rest of english football away. will always strongly dislike them, maybe even hate them, but to be rivals you need to be of roughly equal strength. that's why we should start to see fulham as our rivals. chelsea are indeed hugely arrogant but sadly they now have a lot to be arrogant about. sure, they are in footballing terms very much "new money", but so what? they have the money and that is turning them into a major force in world football - and there isn't anything we can do about it.
