"Queens Park Rangers Football Club are plotting a bid for Kolo Toure.

The Ivory Coast international is no longer considered a first team pick by Manchester City, although he did help them clinch the Premier League title last season.

Roberto Mancini, though, is in the market for another new defender during the summer, and this would see the former Arsenal star further slip down the pecking order.

Mark Hughes, who signed Toure during his time in charge of City, is keen on a reunion with the 31-year-old, and the QPR boss is lining up a £5million offer for his signature."
