For now he's signing the 'experienced' players replacing the likes of Fitz Hall and Ramage. When you look at the back of the match programme and see the 25 man squad would you prefer to see Fitz Hall on the list or Ryan Nelsen? He's also replacing them with his old players, so I wouldn't be surprised if David Bentley or Steven Ireland will be next.
As I said before, he's replacing our old championship players with some Premiership experienced ones. Once this is done...Then Moses, Samba, Kolo Toure etc.. should be targeted by Hughes

Every domestic player he's signed has been one of his old boys...it does make you wonder who's next on the list...

Diakite, Ohuha, Ferdinand, The Brazilian fullback,Faurlin, Mackie. Quite young players all of them. My point is that we need to establish ourselves this season, and given QPR`s recent history with young players, Ward,Ledesma, Parejo(would have liked to have him in the team ATM, though) and finally Hewitt, So without a shadow of a doubt, I trust Hughes´s ability to buy the right player regardless of age. We do also have to bear in mind that we have not even reached July. Still plenty of time to do business;Ie. there are rumours which suggest that Stephen Ireland might be on his way. He is 24, I think.

I know I keep saying it...... but please God..... let him sign.

If Barton, Derry and Diakite were effective on occasion...... Imagine Ireland, Ale and Diakite in the middle.......

I saw Stephen Ireland in a few matches for Aston Villa, and he looked very good, actually. I wouldnt say no to signing him; a real battler. But could be even better with his old coach in charge?

Could it really be that we will sign Chris Samba? or is this just wishful thinking?
