    People Need To Realise...

With Andy Johnson comes a career scoring ratio of a goal every 3 games. That is a very good return.

People are expecting the best in the world but we are a work in progress plus we only generate cash from 18,000 gates so must remain realistic.

Front pair are likely to be Cisse & Zamora so having someone like AJ come off the bench fills me with a lot more hope than Betty or even Helguson now bless him at his age

Get behind him & I reckon we'll have a decent player on our books.

    And for FREE.

Question is now which strikers will leave. DJ and Betty for me with one more to striker to join.

It'll be two out of DJ,HH, and Betty to leave. That'll give us 4 forwards with Mackie and Adel as forward options would be my guess.
Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

AJ is an established Prem striker ,no need to worry about settling in , will hit the ground running when selected
Football played the Charlie Ferris way

Just because he bats for both sides doesnt mean he will be flipping the treatment table upside down and bouncing on the table legs
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

                    Exactly chaps.

Very astute signing in my book.

Facto very good point as it goes he does win a fair share of pens don't he.

W12 AJ's & Mackie's contribution plus work rate wouldn't be bettered in 90% of prem teams imo

                    Very happy with this signing.

He's been fit since last Xmas just not selected so not concerned about injury issues at all.

ric like all loyal fans v happy to get behind him and as you say a good option off the bench.also strongly agree about the need for realism. all i wd say is think virtually all those goals last season came in cup games. think we were about the only prem team he scored against, tho' stand to be corrected. i'm not expecting the french striker for 20m or whatever, im no fantasist, but if we were looking at an old-ish striker on a free I'd have preferred Saha - just my humble opinion...

I think it's a great signing on a free and adds some more quality I the squad! It gives us more options and also Jonson and Zamora know each others game and will settle quick into the team!

Also let's be honest these are not our main big signings Hughes is just being shrewd and picking up good quality players who add experience to the squad on frees! We will sign some younger talented players just be patient and don't panic and remember we are qpr not Barcelona!

I think it is OK - nothing more and nothing less.
