    Ryan Nelsen confirms QPR move

QPR have agreed the signing of New Zealand captain Ryan Nelsen.

The 34-year-old defender is available on a Bosman free transfer following a short spell at Tottenham.

Nelsen has completed a medical and agreed a one-year contract at Loftus Road with the option of a further year.

          One year.

Sensible. Paladini would have given him 6 year deal.

Ryan Nelsen himself confirms the transfer......

To New Zealand media. Very underwhelmed by this signing. He is in the Olympic squad as well. Probably gonna get injured!

Yeah, I can't say this has rocked my world either.

Hey ho, depends on the rest of the signings we get in before we can judge too harshly I suppose.

Gabbbidon / Hall replacement. Our squad needs at least 4 CB or players who can act as an CB.

He is also a former captain. His leadership qualities will be valuable in the dressing room.

                          Good signing imo.

Experience, leader, positionally sound, only 1 year deal.

Makes squad stronger than last season with Gabb / Hall

Give the guy a chance he is free, massive morovement on Gabbidon, Hall, Shittu etc, was signed by a top four club last season who by the way preferred him to Bassong who many wanted to sign. He is excellent back up and just what we need as we develop a premier league SQUAD.

Do you really think we are going to buy 10 players at 3 or 4 million each get real !
