i think it's just pre-contract with things like podolski and arsenal, transfers can't be formally ratified until 1 july. we can sign players who are out of contract, but again this can only be fully ratified once the old contract runs out (and that's usually 1 july too).

I agree with you but I still would like it on our offical asap. I'm 100% admitting i'm being a drama queen about this, but only because I want him signed. He's going to be a massive star
