Green or Foster? and more news

From what i have been told we are waiting on foster he is our number one and everything is agreed but he isn't sure about moving down south, he loves it where he is, Green will be second choice and as of yesterday Foster still hadn't decided.

On a side not I know most wil be underwelmed but Andy Johnson has signed and agreed everything, I couldn't tell you why it hasn't been announced yet. Diakite has also signed and again havent heard what the hold up in announcing is!

With out sounding like a rumour monger just thought would pass on they are also in talks with Samba and his club, this is still at an early stage though, and they are also in talks with a couple of midfielders and their clubs but wouldn't pass info on as to who they are.

I am not claiming to be ITK as this info could be a one off. Just wanted to pass on.

I think Andy Johnson is a good back up to Cisse and Zamora as for the keepers either of them will an improvement on what we have but would prefer Foster mainly due to the fact he is younger.

I can't see us signing Samba he will go to a bigger and better club than us but you never know

    Cheers for passing it on

I found out yesterday that you can't confirm foreign signings until the 1st of July. Thanks for the update btw
      Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
      And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

The thing with Samba is, he wants to work under Mark Hughes again and thanks him for bringing him into english football so its not impossible, having gone with money to his current club he doesnt want that again and wants to be guaranteed football so we are the perfect match, its just agreeing with the club on fees.

To be fair, bigger clubs had plenty of opportunity to go for Samba when he was leaving Blackburn and decided against it for whatever reasons.

I'm alright with Johnson, pragmatic signing with plenty of nous coming off the bench. Wouldn't be over the moon with us paying him top whack wages but what can you do otherwise without taking risks.

Regarding Foster, in the immortal words of Garry Cook if he doesn't choose us he'll have bottled it.

When you mean green second choice, i assume you mean second choice to buy? can't see a player of his calibre sitting on our bench.

I personally feel we should be doing all we can to sign Taiwo. Different class IMO. Getting him permanently would show many a statement of intent.

that's funny, because the standard just reporting he is about to undergo a medical in poland before signing for us on a free transfer, but maybe you have seen something different in the stars...

QPR cannot offer him Champions League football, Benfica can.

It seems he came on loan to escape his Milan hell and perhaps put himself in the shop window for bigger clubs than QPR. Nothing really wrong with that, we all know that the only loyalty in football now exists between fans and 'their' club.

As for Green or Foster, I pefer Foster. I think he is better and is younger, which means he can stay at the club for a number of years, or even be sold for a decent fee if and when he wants to leave.

                              No. 1 target for me.

As I've said before - he provides plenty of impetus going forward..... none of this sideways and backwards stuff that tended to define our game in the darker days of last season..... And that's before we get the the plethora of ****ed-up "Hollywood Balls" by Barton......

An axis of Ireland, Diakite, and Ali would be top, top stuff. You could probably stick me on the wing and we'd do alright........
