JOEY BARTON claims he would "walk" into the England squad — if he was better behaved.

"On ability I walk into the squad, on behaviour I don't... #fact

"If Henderson got in, any Englishman not currently in the squad has to feel aggrieved. Yes, I wish I was there but I'm not...

"Everyone's thinking it I'll say it. Liverpool have an horrific season and have six players in our euro squad. What chance do we have. Pick on form.

"How Holt, Richards, Carrick, Ferdinand, Osman, Sturridge etc never got involved is a travesty..."

Barton has played for England just once — a friendly against Spain in February 2007.

And he added: "I really hope England do well and win it, I really do. All am saying is a don't think we will and it p***es me off...

"If everyone stays fit, we've got a decent 11 once Rooney's back.

"If any of the keys players get a knock, we are done for. Three games in eight/nine days takes its toll on the body.

"If a few are carrying injuries from a long domestic season, it will show. Not being pessimistic just a realist.

"I am overqualified to pass judgement on this. Not only have I played in the Premier League for 10 years but I've played with and against most of them."

"When you went to the corner and saw our fans celebrating the way they were you just wanted to be part of it" - Shaun Derry after we beat the scum 1-0

I rate him higher as a footballer than Jordan Henderson - based on the season. As a person, just as he said himself, he would never get into that squad.

Agree with everything he says if it wasn't for his behaviour over the years he would be in the squad maybe not in the starting 11 but definitely be in there.

If it wasn't for his behaviour over the years he definitely wouldn't be QPR player.

Agree with you both, and Joey as well.

Maybe if the guy was not a complete and utter #### he might have had a chance.

All this macho tough guy attitude has done is fook up his England chances.

Who the hell wants to take a chance on a players with his history?.

                    Sooner he goes the better.

Agree with Joey 100% but like he says with his behavior he has no chance of anymore caps. Shame cos he's better than Henderson.

Henderson may not be much of a player. But it's doubtful he'll ever embarrass his club as badly or as regularly as that twunt Barton embarrasses ours on a daily basis.

Well i'm on Barton's side for a change. I cannot believe Henderson got in the side. But hey, England are linked to The FA so why am I surprised
                            Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
                            And many more mistakes
