I would rather we addressed the team's most pressing concerns before thinking about upgrading on players that have done well for us so far. Mackie is a good player and has plenty to offer next season.

I agree, QPR need other positions filled as a priority i.e. left back, defensive midfielder (if Taiwo and Diakite don't sign deals)but at the smae time if a decn player is available then it would be foolish to miss out.

He is better than SWP and I agree Mackie is better suited as an impact sub.

we are no doubt looking at other positions as well. centre half priority for me. as for right wing, neither swp or mackie are up to snuff. as rebel says, mackie v useful as an impact sub but runs into far too many blind alleys to be a starter in a prem team looking for a mid-table finish imho.
