Fair dos i know you announced this 1st and have been backed up since, don't expect it will be too long before we know for sure.I think there is a good chance of this happening because of the hughes fulham link.
I'm sure there was a post on here after we played them at home that went something like, a poster had shouted at AJ during the game calling him an f-ing cheat or something along those lines, and AJ answered him by saying "yeah well next year i'll be doing this for you" Does anyone else recall that post?

Nothing against Andy Johnson, but I'd rather we not go for him.

I'd rather we focus on younger players, and build a team for the future. This fits in more with what TF and MH are wanting to build here.

We are in a slightly odd position that due to circumstance.........sendings off, injury, suspensions etc. the four recognised strikers at the club never really got proper runs in the side where understanding and confidence could grow.....

Maybe we don't need another striker? and if we do......surely AJ isn't that man?

He's currently in Dubai so will find out from my pal soon as.

He was meant to come as part of the Zamora deal but Fulham promised to match what we were offering so he stayed they then went back on that. Not a happy bunny.

Was all agreed in principle a few days ago so not sure what's changed will try and find out.
