Samba has just tweeted himself that he has agreed personal terms and is joining QPR (assuming its a genuine account)
Top news. 4million Euros is a bit of a bargain if you ask me!Comment

Jordan Henderson £20mill or Samba Diakite £3.2mill.....I know who Id rather have, let alone for £16.8mill less. You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.Comment

Nancy revelation of the season 2010/2011, Samba Diakite was probably disturbed by the numerous transfer rumors and has somewhat missed the first half of the season. We still retain his extraordinary goal against the AJA in the League Cup. Loaned to Queens Park Rangers during the winter transfer window, he played nine games in the Premier League and helped to keep his club in registering such a decisive goal against Arsenal. He was finally transferred to English club for four million euros........ That is the translation from my toolbar.Comment

Ian Taylor tweet:
"@OfficialQPR will be first & fastest when transfers are done. Once any deal is complete, we'll announce it. But only when it's OFFICIAL #QPR"
So it's not done yet? Or is he lying about the official site being 'first &fastest'? lol"When you went to the corner and saw our fans celebrating the way they were you just wanted to be part of it" - Shaun Derry after we beat the scum 1-0Comment

don't think it is a genuine twitter account - it's the one that claimed there would be big news for fans on 23 may.
really do hope we've got him - fwiw, i think the virus was real and not some faking to get a better deal and nancy have always said they'd be happy to sell at the original deal, so fingers crossed.
i don't fully understand the title of the piece on the nancy website - something like "in full (or nearly full), asnl.net reveals the outcome 2011/12" (can translate also as "asnl.net unveils its balance sheet for 2011-12") - it's the "(or nearly full)" bit that (slightly) concerns me.Comment

I take on it is that it is near enough done, hes basically our player but a few minor details are being sorted (ie getting the FA to approve his registration or something like that). The official cant announce anythng until its 110% done and dusted. I imagine itll be properly announced tomorrow.... I hope so anyway! You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.Comment

Would agree with you without nancy's statement.. by the looks it's seems like they just want to do some 'proper' coverage with this deal. (video interview with hughes or samba etc). Why would nancy announce it if the deal wasn't 100% done? They have got supporters too.I take on it is that it is near enough done, hes basically our player but a few minor details are being sorted (ie getting the FA to approve his registration or something like that). The official cant announce anythng until its 110% done and dusted. I imagine itll be properly announced tomorrow.... I hope so anyway!

As I remember the first thing we knew about the Diakite loan was on the Nancy website 24 hours before the club commented at all on it.Comment
