    Barton to West Ham

Not the most reliable source I know, but someone on twitter thinks it is almost a done deal. Anyone heard anything ?

If he does leave it wont be for another premiership club, especially a rival to ourselves. Joey on his day is a top class player, joey after a bad nights sleep and someone who reminds him of the school bully and you have a liability!!. Think this all might be announced:impatient: very near to the first game of the coming season would be my guess.

I don't think QPR would care where he is going rival or not as long as he's off the wage bill.

Can't see WHU going for him at all personally with the contract he's got & it seems we have no grounds to sack him so who knows.

If he does leave us, I reckon he'll #### us off good and proper.

Dunno. Fans have largely backed him this season considering he's been so poor but I agree he'll probably have a few choice words for the hierarchy.

Will they be bothered? I think not.

              Exactly what I think.

You'd struggle to get rid of him for nish never mind on 65 large a week.

Always a mug club out there.
What no longer surprises me is how players who you thought should be out of the game, keep carrying on as clubs will always be interested.
List is endless whether it's through injury or behaviour, clubs keep paying out fortunes for players that morally or physically shouldn't be on the books, name a few Lee Hughes, M King, Dyer, Hargreaves but they are all still in the game.
Just think agents are so powerful and clubs just want instant success that for clubs chasing gold at the end of the rainbow will always take risks.
Don't believe Barton will have difficulty finding suitors, issue is his lucrative contract with us, could see us giving him say £3m telling him to **** off and he'll take a pay cut and join hammers on say £40 grand p/w.

Wasn't it allardyce that took him to Newcastle in the first place?

hes going nowhere because of the 12 game ban. If anyone takes him it will be in January.

only option is to sack him or back him.

                        Classy centre-midfielder. Keep him.

Yes, and by all accounts still rates him.

What with a 10 game ban hanging over him no chance? no team in their right mind would buy a player with a ban like that on him! maybe they'll come back in January T.Window. But personally I'd like to keep him one of our better players especially after Hughes had laid down the law to him against Liverpool. we'd have a good midfield with Barton,Faurlin & Diakite, if we get him.
