Sadly, it appears to be true, the buggers walked, feel gutted and betrayed atm.

We must be relegation certs imo unless we can tempt a good manager in.....no idea who though.

They are having a free for all tear up over on their Pink'un messageboard over this. Quite a few can see the writing on the wall Lambert saw, he did a great job but overachieved with the squad and budget at his disposal: pick the wrong man now and they could go into freefall.


Many are u in arms for Lambert showing his 'true colours' and for being disloyal, a mercenary. However, if he lost his first six games on the trot next season and Lambert begged for more time they'd be - like any football fan - calling for his head and applauding the board for sacking him
