I think out of the current squad Anton would be the obvious choice. Clint Hill or Shuan Derry are perhaps better leaders but I would say both are unlikely to start the majority of our league games next season.

We don't know what signings Hughes has up his sleeve though, there might be players coming in that would be a better shout as the next club captain.

Still not sure about Ferdinand-think he's had some good games, but he's also had some average games where he has gone missing, his distribution is poor however he may be a good CLUB captain. I would be looking to replace Ferdinand before replacing Clint Hill and that says a lot about how good Hill was last season

I wouldn't have Ferdinand in the 11 either.never rated him. We need 2 centre backs this season.
