Hmm interesting that. Can't help feeling that may have been the reason he wasn't played last few gamesComment

Am I getting this correct: if Diakite played 10 games for us he was automatically ours? But because he didnt theres a free for all to sign him?
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.Comment

I doubt this is the case, as Hughes would've known the situation and would of brought him on to make an app just to get to 10?Comment

QPR quick to rush through Samba deal
Fulham is a typically diverse London area with something for everyone - from the hustle and bustle of North End Road Market, to the refined chicness of the iconic Fulham Road. It boasts superb pubs and restaurants, two Premier League football clubs and excellent transport links.
Oh great. Just seen there's a loophole. Hope that mystery 'virus' was nothing to do with it.Comment

Bit worrying that. Was the virus a smoke screen ? Reading between the lines it looks like Diakite doesn't wonna join us.Comment

What makes you think this has anything to do with the club.
Look at what the paper alleges in that there are other parties working on his behalf. Why would they do that, maybe because a) they know the clause and b) he has seen the publicity he generated and wants to test the water c)and was planning for it
As for the virus I dont buy into that, what virus is that debilating or condition produces his lay off. I have posted on this before.
Call me an old cynic, but this has the makings of another player not honouring commitments freely entered into. His attire on the last match of the season sent all the wrong signals.Populus fui meus nomen , tamen meus nomen est non meus nomenComment

This is suspicious. Looks to me that his agents have been shopping him around on the QT and told him not to play the deciding 10th game. (And even if he does still intend to come to us he has huge leverage in the contract negotiations now.)
Or, he really did have a mystery virus...Comment
