We don't need one when our midfield are going to score so many, do we?

i think its simple...they want us to be in the black..at all times.

Rough maths i think GP/Madge have about £1.5million to spend so need to flog more to get the kind of money we need for Beckford or see what we can pick up on that money.

There aint many 20/25 a season strikers about for 1.5 million

Which makes sense to me and is something I have been saying for a while. I think we as fans need to accept the board are not willing to take what is probably a major financial risk in their eyes. It is now apparent even though our owners are extremely wealthy they are not prepared to spend vast sums of money on the squad. The next best thing to me would be for this club to be self sufficient and balance the books.

Sell Legiertwood & Hall and go and buy a striker!

Agree W12, and also part exchange one of our current strikers.

you couldn't give our strikers away...let alone part exchange.
we sold our top scorer for him to sit on the forest bench...lmfao

May I sugest that the £3,500,000 they spent on a midfielder we did not need could have been spent on Beckford. GPs mate Pete has been saying we dont need one since Tarabbt arrived so we won't be getting one.

                            Sell Leigertwood?
                            Joker.

Hall, Mahon, Heider, Aggy (although decent, we have Vine), Ephraim and Alberti should be sold way before legs is let go as we don't actually need any of them. Ephraim is a very good player, but won't get in ahead of the likes of Routledge, Buzz and Cook so I would class him as an expendable.
