Tbf I didnt at all until the back end of last year when I saw a few Wigan games on TV and have to admit he did look a good player.

Not been overly impressed by him but he's only 21, so still plenty of time to develop.

This would be one of the best signings
          Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
          And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

Don't forget DJ Campbell and Mackie as well. We need to spend on a good goal keeper and I would love to see Shay Given here, a central back, a full back and a winger.
Yes Cisse is a natural but Heidar (sad to say but injuries and age ) is not good enough for another stint in the prem league .

If Cisse gets injured or dare I say 'suspended' then we are f ooked !!!

Campbell is not fancied by Hughes and Mackie I would be surprised if he had as good a season as last year .

We definitely need another out and out striker .....Jermain Defoe please !!!!!!!!

He's 21! And been ripping holes in defences for the past third of the season. Excellent raw talent thatcan be coached, developed and improved. Built like Heskey but with pace and skill

Don't get me wrong I'm a fan of Mackie however last year I think he punched above his weight a little bit .

He'll be remembered for the goals against City and 'Pool however I think the old 2nd season syndrome will kick in , in as much as teams will snuff him out .

You'll still get the energy and passion from him but for me he doesn't have enough end product as a winger , beating his man etc .......just my opinion !!

We really are going to be f*cked come the African Cup of Nations, if Taiwo, Samba and Moses sign.

I'm not sure I'd like to see him play instead of Traore, as both are left-footed. AT is a class act with pace and crosses.

Red Sea Pedestrians - that's all we need. Great goal celebration though:

                                For good parts of last season he carried Wigan on his back as a right winger. So I should believe he is a decent enough player. Not a typical out and out striker, I know that BUT anyway;
                                sign him up.
just my take at it though so no damage done!!lol.
