          my sentiments exactly, dont see much hope of us competing with the likes of everton and sunderland. we have the money but would he want to play in front of 18.000 each week or 45.000. live close to his family or 3-400 miles away.

          sad but he has to be crossed off the shopping list for me now.

          great player and good luck to him.

              Always a shout now we have the people in place that we have.

              18,000 at LR is like 45,000 elsewhere anyway & he would know that as he played for City against us here.

              North East is 55 mins on a plane so not a disaster.

              Dunno if we're even interested but a player I'd love in the hoops & if we are to show some real ambition this is the kind of quality we need to be going for.
