Was about to post this as well, right decision but to be told by someone else at the club rather than the manager isn't right

Forget the sentiment, he's robbed a living off QPR for 5 years!

That's why people like Philip Beard are employed.

Might sound harsh but football is a business. If matey down in Virgin atlantic check in desk was getting lodged do you think Branson would offer him a meeting to break the news?

              No exactly.

Harsh but that's the way it is. Hughes reports to Beard & PB deals with the players / agents etc.

I understand your point but it's Hughes' decision that he doesn't want Fitz anymore so why can't he just tell him. It's not Branson's decision he doesn't want air stewardess anna anymore!

Took alot of criticism and tbf he did have some dodgy displays, but not the worst player and as with all Rs players wish him well, don't think he'll have a problem getting another club personally. Thanks Fitz good luck to you

That's a real real shame. A very loyal & top professional player. Also very good on Fifa if that counts for anything. But seriously a player i've always liked since day one under Gigi De Canio

I'll be watching his next move very closely & can only say good things about him. Whoever signs him in the Championship has got a top defender there
                      Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
                      And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

Average at best. A couple of good games in 5 years, even Ted would have to agree he's got no future with us!
2011-2013, 2 seasons in the Premiership, 76 games, 14 wins........two years of my life I'll never get back!!

2013/2014 mediocrity topped off with a win at Wembley....

2014/2015 was pretty much the same as 2011-2013.....

                          2015/2016, average at best.....

                          2016/2017, same old, same old....

                          2017/2018, aim low, avoid disappointment!

Its the hope that kills you!
