Each to their own Kit. Look on it as a sacrifice for the greater good of football.
That and to stop several of the most unsavoury footballers of our time getting their undeserving mits on a famous old trophy.
And did I mention their despicable fans? And the dubious wealth of Abramovich?
Now I think about it, who wouldn't take a season in the Championship to stop that happening?!

I've just come around in intensive care.

        It was a nightmare right?

        Bayern are victorious yes?

        Someone tell me so.

My first thoughts were how unbearable this is going to be forever. The outcome cannot be changed. However...

I didn't watch it. I only got the odd update looking on here. Not seen any footage of either the game, or the penalties, or any subsequent media coverage, or any of the over the top celebrations and not going to. Just need to avoid things such as talksport for a week or so until all the fuss has died down. Shouldn't be too much of a hardship. I'm lucky, I've been able to treat it as an irrelevance.

Plus of course, I take the view that in actual fact it was nothing other than a very fortunate triumph in a competition between a few european clubs. Not having them being called European champions, no way. The stats don't lie and to give them their fair dues, they proved themselves to be the 6th best team in their own league over the last season, so well done to them. But that's it.

          Wishing you a speedy recovery.
