Learning a thing or two from the boxheads

Watching the schum and Munich support standing behind the goals is making me a tad jealous.

Watching German football at the moment makes me think we could learn quite a few things from them about our grounds, standing making a much better atmposhere and drinking in view of the pitch.

Out in Gelsenkirchen at the World Cup, they were saying about how they could take seats out and replace them as and when needed, usually due to UEFA regulations for European matches, which has obviously changed if they're letting them do it for the final.

So if it's not UEFA stopping us, what is? Are the FA actually that worried about the fuss that the scouse grief #####s will kick up moaning about it being disrespectful to 'the 96'?

Goes to show that it works if you look at the German model, have two ends standing and the sides seated, so if you don't want to stand, you don't. Also their model for grounds is great, the Allianz Arena looks by far the best of any new ground over the past decade (form the inside, not the exterior) across the continent, atmosphere in there sounds far better than you hear from Wembley from the tele. Another great ground out there is the Westfalenstadion.

Didn't mean drinking in the stands today, on that note was from watching German football in general.
Don't think you can even get a beer at half time when it's Euro/World Cup qualifiers at Wembley because of their rules.
